Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To remove restriction on the number of selected projection magnifications by making it possible that a part of a transmission mechanism, for example, a speed changing system is replaced as an independent unit in a microfilm reader printer of the slit exposure system. CONSTITUTION:A unit 10 into which a part of the transmission mechanism of a driving transmission system is constituted can be coupled to a pair of input/ output shafts 26 and 21 of the driving transmission system by coupling plates 26B and 11B and coupling plates 21B and 14B. Plural kinds of pulley including pulleys having the same diameter are prepared for pulleys 11A and 14A of the unit 10. The unit 10 having a required speed change ratio for scanning of a reader printer is selected, and its coupling plates 11B and 14B are pressed to coupling plates 26B and 21B in the reader printer side to fit a taper pin 28 to a notch 18, and they are coupled without backlash neither play. Thus, the speed change ratio is changed easily, and the scanning speed is changed in accordance with the projection magnification.
