Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To prevent knocking or engine stop by transmitting power to a clutch controlling actuator to decrease or increase a clutch torque and bringing the clutch into imperfect coupling in the case of an accelerator pedaled to some extent and a car speed slower than a prescribed speed. CONSTITUTION:A car speed sensor 9, a sensor 10 for the number the engine revolution, a detecting sensor 11 for the movement of a clutch actuator 4, an accelerator opening sensor 14, and a shift lever position sensor 16 are provided to input their output signals to an electronic control device 12, which outputs an intermittent signal and a shift signal to the clutch actuator 4 and a shift actuator 8 according to a predetermined speed change diagram. In this case, a clutch 3 is brought into imperfect coupling corresponding to the number of engine revolution in the case of an accelerator pedaled to some extent and a car speed slower than a prescribed speed, and the actuator 4 is controlled to release the clutch 3 in the case of the accelerator pedaled less than its prescribed amount.
