DRY DISTILLATION FURNACE FOR WASTE OIL AND THE LIKE

PURPOSE:To prevent explosion due to dry distillation gas by installing air supply holes and inert gas injection holes in such a manner that at a bent part of a distillation furnace the air supply holes are formed and inert gas injection holes are also formed to inject gas toward a discharge path. CONSTITUTION:A lower part of a vertical part 1a in a dry distillation furnace 1 is bent almost horizontally and connected to a discharge path 3. At inner side of a bent part 1b of the dry distillation furnace 1 air supply holes 5 are opened to supply air of which amount is only sufficient to burn locally solid carbon near the holes in the furnace and at the outer side of the bent part 1b, inert gas injection holes 12 are also opened to inject inert gas toward a discharge path 3. As a result, ashes are gradually discharged toward the discharge path 3 with no cave-in of a solid carbon layer accumulated in the furnace.
