CONSTITUTION:A work W is inserted from the tail center 35 side into first collet 38 in work clamp mechanism 37 then the core push table is moved to the spindle table side to fit the shaft 47 of work clamp mechanism 37 to the tail center 35 thus to feed the hydraulic pressure into first hydraulic chamber 43. Consequently, first collet 38 will move to the right and pushed to the outside by a supporting member 40 to be pressure contracted against the inner face of work W through-hole 30 and clamped. While upon matching of phase between the grinding wheel not shown and the gear 33, hydraulic pressure is fed into second hydraulic chamber 71 to reduce the diameter of second collet 66 of clap mechanism 36 for transmitting the rotary force at the pressing section 69 thus to pressure contact against the coupling section 64 and to couple with the work clamp mechanism 37. With such arrangement, the work can be mounted as an unit.
