PURIFICATION OF CRUDE BETA-PHENYLETHYL ALCOHOL

Process for the purification of crude beta -phenylethyl alcohol by azeotropic distillation in the presence of alkanolamines in which the alkylene chain contains 2 to 4 carbon atoms and is optionally substituted by 1 to 4 C1-C3-alkyl groups.
