description PURPOSE:To suck up high concentrations of sludge while preventing the diffusion of sludge on the bottom under water by a method in which a supporter is pivot ally supported in a rocking manner on the upper one of two slidable rings on the periphery of a suction tube, and a liquid-tight film is laid between the lower ring and the tip of the supporter. CONSTITUTION:The upper end of a suction tube 12 is connected to a sucker, and the lower end serves to suck up sludge H. In the tube 12, the second slide ring 16 is slidably provided to the upper part, and the first slide ring 14 is slidably provided to the lower part. The inside end of a film 30 is joined with the first slide ring 14, and one end of the supporter 34 is pivotally supported by the ring 16. The tip of the supporter 34 is connected to the outside end of the film 30. The film 30 is tensed by the supporter 34 by rocking movement, and a tube 40, a tube 42 to send a fluid into the tube 40, and a weight 46 are provided to the periphery of the film 30. Highly concentrated sludge can thus be sucked up while preventing the occurrence of turbidity.
