description PURPOSE:To stabilize storage by incorporating a specific cured sulfonic acid resin to a reagent layer contg. diazomium salt of a multi-layer analyzing element for analite analysis of the basic constitution in which the reagent layer and a light transmittable base layer are successively laminated. CONSTITUTION:A specific cured sulfonic acid resin is incorporated into a multi- layer analyzing element of the basic constitution in which a reagent layer contg. diazonium salt and a light transmittable base layer are successively laminated for analyzing analite in a liquid sample. The group derived from 2-acrylamide-2- methyl propane sulfonic acid and 2-methacryl-2-methyl propane sulfonic acid is constituted and repeated in the reagent layer. The cured sulfonic acid resin, etc. formed by crosslinking the addition polymer contg. >=10mol% the unit by an epoxy compd. are incorporated therein. The diazonium salt is eventually placed under contact at all times with the specific cured sulfonic acid resin and the preservation of the element with high stability is made possible.
