Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To produce a multi-stage pump having high efficiency while suppressing droppage of delivery lift by bringing the flow path resistance of at least the final stage diffuser flow path higher than that of other stage in a plurality of diffuser flow paths. CONSTITUTION:The inner casings 371, 372 are forming initial stage and second stage diffuser flow paths 311, 312 for guiding the fluid delivered from initial stage impeller 201 and second stage impeller 202 respectively and water return flow paths 321, 322 for leading to next stage impellers 202, 203. The diffuser path is formed with a plurality of vanes where the flow path area of initial and second diffuser flow paths 311, 312 is made larger than that of final stage diffuser flow path 313.
