description PURPOSE:To provide a heat-storage material capable of keeping excellent performance even after a long-term use, by forming a high-density ethylene polymer having a specific density in the form of a cylinder, and providing a core wire at the center of the formed cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A high-density ethylene polymer having a density of >=0.930g/ cm , preferably 0.930-0.975g/cm (preferably having a melt index of 0.02-50g/ 10min) is extruded in the form of a cylinder, and a core wire having outer diameter of usually 1-50mm. (e.g. copper wire, iron wire, etc. having a heat resistance of about 200 deg.C) is inserted into the central part of the formed cylinder to obtain the objective heat-storage material. EFFECT:The material can be fixed in a cylindrical vessel easily and surely, and there is no welding of the high-density ethylene polymer to the vessel during use.
