description PURPOSE:To enhance color reproducibility by incorporating complementary color filter particles having subtractive action in addition to particles having a filter action of additive color mixture in accordance with a correction amt. to execute subtractive action on the complementary color light. CONSTITUTION:R particles 403 contg. dispersed conventional C dye, G particles 404 contg. conventional dispersed M dye, and B particles 401 obtained by dispersing Y-colored sublimable dye into a B pigment lose attaching force when they are exposed to each of R, G, and B colored lights, respectively, but since the M particles 402 for correcting red obtained by likewise dispersing a sublimable Y-colored dye into an M pigment executes filter action, the Y dye contained in these particles is removed by the R-colored light in addition to the intrinsic R-colored light in an exposure development processes from the relationship: M-colored light = R-colored light + B-colored light. Therefore, the M particles 402 in addition to the R particles 403 are freed of attaching force by the R-colored light, and since the Y dye is subtracted by the amt. of the M particles 402, a corrected red color high in saturation can be reproduced by causing this subtracting amt. to correspond to a set calculation equation.
