An arithmetic circuit 18 for actual fuel cost calculates the actual fuel cost in accordance with a vehicle speed signal and a fuel consumption signal and trnasmits and actual fuel cost signal (n). A multiplier circuit 19 multiplies and signal (n) and the signal (l) to calculate the remaining mileage. When a preset value is attained, the circuit 18 is started and the content of the circuit 19 is displayed on the circuit 13.
