CONTROL SYSTEM FOR COPYING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To shorten an execution time and to reduce variance of control operation by transferring mode selection information from a floppy disk to an RAM and rewriting information in the RAM. CONSTITUTION:When a copy mode change indication is made from an operation display device 8, that is recognized by a micro CPU1 and an ROM6 through an input/output port 7 and a bus 2. Then, selected copy mode information is transferred from the floppy disk 4 to the RAM5, and the copy mode is entered at the same time. For example, when a copy mode of life-size of A3 is selected, a comparison with the timing of return-clutch operation in the selected mode is only made for judgement. Consequently, the capacity of the ROM is reduced and the capacity of the RAM itself is not increased because only a selected copy program is stored.
