description PURPOSE:To facilitate fixation of an article without the necessity of accurate positioning, by applying a thermosetting adhesive to a separate sheet in a spotted form, transferring the adhesive onto the fixing surface of an article, abutting other article against said article to bond them to each other and heat-treating the articles to cure the adhesive. CONSTITUTION:A thermosetting adhesive soln. 2 consisting of 100pts.wt. thermosetting resin (e.g. epoxy resin), 0.01-50pts.wt. curing agent, 0.01-30pts.wt. catalyst, 0.01-30pts.wt. accelerator and a solvent is applied to an easily strippable separate sheet A (e.g. PP film) in a spotted form in a densify of 25X10 spots/ 10X10cm , each spot having a size of 400-400X10 mum and a thickness of 5- 500mum. The sheet A is pressed against an article 3 (e.g. Al sheet) placed on a belt conveyor 4 by means of a roller 5 to transfer the spotted adhesive 2 on the fixing surface of the article 3. This surface is abutted against another article 6 and compressed to bond them to each other and the laminate is heat-treated at 60-200 deg.C for 0.5-10min to fix them.
