Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To offer a reciprocating drive unit as well as to make it usable at a household or the like in an easy manner, by using gravity force of a liquid as a driving source or an energy source. CONSTITUTION:As a liquid, water stored at the rooftop of a building, city water, miscellaneous drainage, river flash are utilized for the end. A reciprocatable piston 2 is installed inside a cylinder 1. The piston 1 is so constituted as to drive a reciprocating pump 15 via a piston shaft 12. Inside the cylinder 1, there are provided with a first pressure chamber 3 and a second pressure chamber 4 with movements of the piston 2. A selector valve 7, which feeds or drains the liquid as a driving source is alternately installed in both these pressure chambers 3 and 4. A pilot valve 10 is, in turn, installed in this selector valve 7. On the other hand, the pilot valve 10 is driven by a link device 13 being attached to the piston shaft 12.
