APPARATUS FOR INSPECTING PRINTED WIRING BOARD

PURPOSE:To certainly hold the contact state of a checker pin and a part to be inspected, by supporting the checker pin so as to prevent the same from displacing to the direction spaced apart from the part to be inspected in such a state the leading end part of the checker pin is brought into contact with the part to be inspected. CONSTITUTION:A pin board 21 is arranged directly below the predetermined part 2 to be inspected of a printed wiring board 1 so that a checker pin 26 can be contacted with said pin board 21. When power is applied to a coil 31 made of a shape memory alloy, the coil 31 is shrunk and retracted while the pin 26 is protruded toward the parr 2 to be inspected. At this time, a similar coil 37 is shrunk and retraced by the supply of a current and a support plate 35 is moved to the left side while the lower end part 29a of a guide rod 29 is contacted with the upper surface of the support plate 35. By this mechanism, the pin 26 is prevented from displacing to the direction spaced from the part 2 and the contact state of the part 2 and the leading end part 20 of the pin 26 is certainly held.
