Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a surface protective film which has a necessary and sufficient adhesion, causes less changes in adhesion with time and has good release workability, by forming a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer with a specified pressure-sensitive adhesive mainly composed of an ethylene/vinly acetate copolymer. CONSTITUTION:A pressure-sensitive adhesive having a melt index [ASTM- 1238(190 deg.C, 216kg)] of 60-400, mainly composed of an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer having a vinyl acetate content of 6-12wt% (which may be used together with polyethylene) and contg. additives such as filler, antioxidant, slip agent, etc., is used. A pressure-sensitive adhesive layer of 0.005-0.05mm. in thickness, composed of said adhesive, is formed on one side of a support composed of a plastic film such as polyethylene film of 0.01-0.25mm. in thickness to obtain a surface protective film.
