description | PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a stage using another press and to provide a reduction in man-hour and improvement in production efficiency by forming safety shoe fittings convering the toe by two-pieces pressing in the state of facing upward the toe of said fittings and positioning the rear sides so as to face each other. CONSTITUTION:An elliptical plank 6 is blanked from a coil material 5 in the 1st stage. The plank 6 is subjected to bending by which a hollow groove 7 is formed along the short axis of the plank in the 2nd stage. Cover parts 2, flange parts 3 and a connecting part 8 are drawn to the shape in which the two rear sides of safety shoes fittings 1 are faced to each other and the toe is faced upward in the 3rd stage. The cover parts 2 and flange parts 3 are subjected to coining in the 4th stage. Trimming is performed in the 5th stage. The part 8 is subjected to blanking to leave the edge parts 4 of both flange parts and to remove the other parts in the 6th and 7th stages. An attaching hole 9 is worked to the parts 4 in the 8th and 9th stages. The two continuous edge parts 4 are parted in the 10th stage and the parts 4 are bent to the same plane as the plane of the flange parts 3 in the 11th stage. The two fittings 1, 1 are thus completed. |
