AIR PURIFICATION APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To reduce the noise of the titled apparatus and to enhance air blowing capacity thereof while reducing the wt. and thickness thereof as a whole, by sufficiently prolonging the flowline of air blown from a blower and using an ultra-thin blower and an ultra-thin air filter. CONSTITUTION:A light wt. thin blower 3 is received in a housing 2 and a light wt. thin air filter 4 is arranged in front of the blower 3. In addition, a blind plate 6 is arranged in front of the above mentioned blower 3 but behind the filter 4. This blind plate 6 functions so as to reduce the non-uniform dynamic pressure of an emitted air stream and to change the same to static pressure when said air stream passes the gap between the blind plate 6 and the filter 4. The air stream weakened in its dynamic pressure is uniformly and slowly impinged to the entire rear surface of the filter 4 and passes the filter 4 while uniform wind velocity distribution is formed. As a result, noise is reduced and air blowing capacity is enhanced and the wt. and thickness of the titled apparatus is reduced as a whole.
