In case of sealingly attaching the metallic end plate 8 to the transparent outer tube 1, the subject sealing part is positioned within a heat insulating cylinder, outside of which a high frequency heating coil 12 is wound, in order to heat the outer periphery of the end plate 8 to a high temperature by high frequency heating. In addition, a gas burner 13 is used at the same time in order to heat the inner periphery of the end plate 8, where the high temperature can not be easily attained to, by high frequency heating. Owing to the heatings as mentioned above, the sealingly attaching of the end plate 8 to the outer tube by heating is performed with high reliability. |
