description PURPOSE:To improve the packing properties of a coil, and to obtain a superconductive magnet having high performance by pressing a superconducting strand wound on a bobbin by a roller and winding the strand while sufficiently holding down fillers having excellent thermal conductivity. CONSTITUTION:A superconducting strand 2 in Nb, Ti, etc. wound on a bobbin 1 is pressed by force the same as or higher than electromagnetic force working to a coil on conduction, and wound while thin metallic filers or, more preferably, the foil of Cu and Al as a softening treating agent or fillers 4 in a metal sheet are held down among coil layers. According to the method, adhesive properties between the strand and fillers are improved because strong pressure can be applied to a rolled section without applying forced tension to a winding. Since compressive force is applied to the strand as a lower layer, the Young's modulus of the coil does not lower, and a magnet having stable performance is obtained.
