Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a flame-retardant resin compsn. having an excellent dripping inhibiting property during combustion, consisting of polypropylene, an inorg. filler, an org. halide flame retarder, a styrene/butadiene rubber and a specified glow time shortening agent. CONSTITUTION:3-20wt% styrene/butadiene rubber (having a soln. viscosity of pref. 500-5,000cp) and 1-10wt% glow time shortening agent such as triphenylphosphine are blended with 100wt% compsn. consisting of 30-80wt% polypropylene, 20-70wt% inorg. filler having an average particle size of 1-10mu, such as talc, and 5-30wt% org. halide flame retarder such as decabromodiphenyl oxide to obtain the desired flame retardant resin compsn. Said flame retarder is used in a quantity of 10-30wt% based on the combined quantity of polypropylene and SBR.
