One data separated by this separator 30 is applied to voice generating unit 40, where voice ROM41 stored previously with a group of unit characters in the form of time-series frequency components and voice-change signal converter 42 converting the output of ROM41 into an audio signal convert the input into an audio signal and speaker 43 outputs the document by voice; and the other data from separator 30 is applied to display unit 50 and decoded by decoder 51 before being displayed by digital display unit 52, so that the collation and proofreading of the document will be attained by display and voice.
