description PURPOSE:To prevent processing from being interrupted owing to misoperation without requiring special hardware, by using a function elements for a keyboard detection part and performing keyboard detection independently of the processing of a main CPU processing. CONSTITUTION:A key-on discriminating means 34 detects whether a key is on or off from the output of a keyboard 27. A key information storage means 35 is stored with combinations of keys for determining whether a specific key is effective or ineffective. A mode converting and comparing means 36 compares the outputs of the means 34 and 35 with each other to discriminate whether a mode change is made or not. A mode storage means 37 stores mode contents by the output of the means 36. Then, a data transmitting means 39 sends out significant data from the means 38. A main processing means 40 receives the output of the means 39 and performs main processing. Thus, the operation of a keyboard detection processing part is carried out independently of the main processing, so the processing is prevented from being interrupted owing to misoperation.
