SIGNAL PROCESSOR

PURPOSE:To ensure the effective use of the memory capacity and to perform expansion of a time axis, by stopping the writing to a memory by a controller and an output signal of a digital comparator and eliminating a specific level of an analog signal. CONSTITUTION:The analog signal applied to an input terminal 21 in a quick traversing reproduction time of a tape recorder is digitized and delivered onto a digital signal line 28. For this digital signal, the presence or absence of an analog signal of the terminal 21 is discriminated by a digital comparator 27. If no analog signal exists, the comparator 27 sends a signal to a controller 25 through an output signal line 33 to avoid the read-in of the digital signal to a memory 24. A clock device 26 sends the read clock to the controller 25, and the controller 25 delivers the digital signal to the line 28 from the memory 24 synchronously with the read clock. This digital signal is converted into an analog signal and delivered to an output terminal 34.
