AIR OPERATION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To obtain required operating force only at the required point of time by interposing an air sump between a stop valve and a solenoid valve in an operation device and disposing a port of a specified diameter at an air flow inlet of the air sump. CONSTITUTION:An air operation device includes a solenoid valve 1 having an inlet 4 connected with a compressed air source and an outlet 6 connected with an operating cylinder 8, wherein a switch 12 is opened and closed through a piston rod 10 and a coupling rod 11 by the operation of a piston 9 of the operating cylinder 8. An amplification valve 18 is disposed in a pipeline 7 connecting the outlet 6 to the operating cylinder 8, and a lower valve 23 is opened by the downward movement of an upper valve 22 of the amplification valve 18 when the solenoid valve 1 is operated, and compressed air passing through a stop valve 5 is supplied to the operating cylinder through a pipeline 25. In this case, an air sump 32 having a specified capacity is disposed between the solenoid valve 1 and the stop valve 5, and a port 33 whose diameter is smaller than the diameter of opening of the amplification valve 18 is mounted at the air flow inlet of the air sump 32.
