CONSTITUTION:A binder contg. in combination >=1 kind among the respective groups consisting of a vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate resin or cellulose nitrate contg. 5X10-1.7X10 equiv. -CO2H for each 1g of the polymer (group A), an urethane acrylate contg. >=2 (meth)acryloyl groups in a molecule in which, >=50mol% of the polyhydric alcohol component constituting the polyester polyol is an alkyl substd. aliphat. dihydric alcohol, alicyclic dihydric alcohol, etc. or >=50mol% of the polybasic acid component of the polyester polyol is an alicyclic or arom. dicarboxylic acid (group B) and a compd. of =2 (meth)acryloyl groups in a molecule (group C) is used in binding magnetic powder. The recording medium having an excellent electromagnetic conversion characteristic, durability, etc. is thus obtd.
