description PURPOSE:To enable to obtain a flywheel, which takes a small space and yet has enough large moment of inertia about an shaft line, and at the same time to simplify its manufacturing and working by a method wherein the main body of the flywheel is molded in synthetic resin containing metallic powder. CONSTITUTION:The main body 11 of a flywheel 10, which is employed for eliminating unevenness in rotation caused by the change of output or load of a comparatively small size motor used in a stereophonic tape player or the like, is molded in synthetic resin such as polypropylene containing zinc powder uniformly so as to make the combined specific gravity heavier than 3.5. In addition, a hole 15 is bored at the center of the main body 11 in order to press a stainless steel shaft 13 therein. In such a manner as mentioned above, the manufacturing and working of the flywheel can be simplified and at the same time the flywheel takes a small space and yet can have enough large moment of inertia about the line of the shaft 13.
