ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PLATE MAKING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To facilitate inspection in a main body without spoiling the precision of an optical system by composing the main body of a lower housing and an upper housing which is supported pivotally on its one-side upper part in an opening/closing state, and supporting a platen, optical exposure system, and exposure conveyance system in the upper housing. CONSTITUTION:Dust sticks in an electrostatical charge part 4 and a development part 5 and a reduction roller device 23 and a fixation part 6 become dirty in long-period use, so periodic inspection and cleaning are necessary. At this time, the upper housing 28 is opened by being pressed up. The platen 2, optical exposure system 9, and exposure conveyance system 19 are supported on the side of the upper housing 28, so the distance relation among the platen 2, optical exposure system 9, and exposure conveyance system 19 is irrelative to the position relation between the lower housing 27 and upper housing 28 and those position relations are not influenced by the inspection and cleaning. Therefore, the inspection and cleaning in the main body are carried out easily without spoiling the precision of the optical system.
