Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain the titled device which causes little shear of color and can be manufactured inexpensively, by a construction in which a retaining means for making a drum retain the end of image-receiving paper is opened and closed in linkage to an operation of moving a thermal head. CONSTITUTION:When a thermal head 13 is separated from a drum 16 by driving a sliding member 21', a projection 22 of the head is made to engage with a lever 25, and thereby a holder 19 is put in the open state through the intermediary of a lever 25. When image-receiving paper 15 is inserted and the sliding member 21' is moved to the left to disengage the projection 22 from the lever 25, a lever 24 is made to touch a projection 29 by a spring 28, the holder 19 is actuated in the direction of the center of the drum 16 by the actuating force of a spring 20, and thereby the end of the image-receiving paper 15 is made to contact closely with the drum 16.
