METHOD FOR SPREADING LAVER SHEET

PURPOSE:To enable the accurate inspection of the defects of a laver sheet and precise determination of the moisture content of the sheet, by contacting a warped laver sheet closely to a conveyor by the aid of air flow blasted from above, thereby spreading the sheet in the form of a plane. CONSTITUTION:The laver sheet L tansferred by the transfer conveyor C1 is aligned with the aligning belts 3 attached to both sides of the conveyor, and made to contact closely with the conveyor C1 by the aid of air flow blasted from the compressed air ejection box 6. The warped laver sheet L is spread in the form of a plane, and the defects are inspected by the laver defect inspecting apparatus A. The inspected laver sheet L is transferred to the intermediate conveyor C2, spread in the same manner as above by the air flow from the compressed air ejection box 12, and brought into close contact with the moisture detection rod 10 for determining the moisture. The problem of misclassifying a good product as a defect owing to the warpage of the product can be solved, and the moisture determination can be carried out in high accuracy beacuse the laver sheet is closely contacted with the detection rod in the moisture determination process.
