CONSTITUTION:At least 5pts.wt. rubber component consisting of butadiene oligomer diol and an isocyanate (e.g. methylene diisocyanate) or an isocyanate prepolymer (e.g. a polycondensation product of toluene diisocyanate and polypropylene glycol) is blended with 100pts.wt. asphalt such as straight asphalt or natural asphalt to prepare a rubber asphalt. This rubber asphalt is molded in a molten state into a sheet. Before the sheet is cured, it is pressed by an embossing roll to form grooves and cooled to obtain the desired waterproof sheet on one side of which is provided with numerous communicating grooves.
