APPARATUS FOR OPERATING TYPE BAR IN ELECTRIC JAPANESE-CHARACTER TYPEWRITER

PURPOSE:To provide the titled apparatus for certainly operating a type bar and each part related thereto without generating disorder, constituted by providing a blocking element for blocking the light of an optical sensor for detecting the position of a cam disc to position said cam disc to a normal state position to the rotary shaft of a motor. CONSTITUTION:A motor 17 is associated with the start crank 31 of a type bar 4 through the cam disc 23 fixed to the revolving shaft of the motor 17 while a blocking element 22 for blocking the light of an optical sensor 33 for detecting the position of the cam disc 23 to position the same to a normal state position is provided to the revolving shaft 21. After typing, the type bar 4 and each part related thereto can be certainly restored to the normal state position at every one time. By selectively changing the rotary speed of the motor 17 by the number of strokes in a character 3, the typing force of the type bar can be changed.
