CONSTITUTION:In forming a bone-material exposed part (B) used for current collection in the central part of an original electrode plate 6 packed with an active material, the plate 6 is guided with guides 34 and 35, and an ultrasonic horn 19 is provided so that it touches the plate 6. In addition, receiving members 36 and 37 forming a hole is provided under the horn 19 so that separated active material can pass through the above hole. After part of the active material of the plate 6 is separated by ultrasonic vibrations while sending the plate 6 by means of rolls 17 and 18, the plate 6 is cleaned with jet nozzles 23, 24 and brushes 25, 26 before the plate 6 is sent out of the device. As a result, active material closely bound to the plate 6 can be easily separated continuously, and the manufacturing efficiency of electrode plates can be remarkably enhanced.
