description | PURPOSE:To smooth the automatic starting and stopping by a method wherein the engine is stopped and a part of fuel supply circuit is closed upon stopping the automobile engine while the closing of the circuit is released when a predetermined time elapsed after the fuel is interrupted to fill the circuit with the fuel before starting the engine. CONSTITUTION:Stopping of an electric power supply for a solenoid valve 36 is maintained to keep the closed condition thereof untill an interrupting time C has elapsed 0.4sec or more after the stopping of the power supply for the solenoid valve 36 upon stopping the engine and whereby unnecessary consumption of the fuel during stopping of the engine 10 is restrained to the minimum. When the interrupting time C has become more than 0.4sec, the solenoid valve 36 is opened by receiving the power supply therefor and the fuel from a fuel supply source 10b is flowed into a pipeline P2, a carburettor 10a and the suction pipe of the engine 10 whereby the fuel is supplied smoothly into the combustion chamber of the engine 10 simultaneously with the beginning of the starting revolution thereof and the engine 10 may accomplish the starting thereof. |
