Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To joint a nozzle plate to the main body of a head so as to prevent deformation or breakage of the plate or leakage of an ink between the plate and the main body, by jointing the nozzle plate to the main body of the head through a shock-absorbing member by a press plate. CONSTITUTION:A shock-absorbing member 5 is inserted into the groove 3 of the main body 1 of a head, and a nozzle plate 6 is provided so that it contacts a front face of the main body 1 while making close contact with the shock- absorbing member 5. The nozzle plate 6 is pressed by the press plate 8, and is fixed to the main body 1 by screws passed through clearance holes 10. Accordingly, the nozzle plate can be fitted to the main body of the head in a purely mechanical manner, the nozzle plate and the press plate make surface contact with each other to uniformly dispese a force exerted on the plate, and the plate is hardly broken.
