The compound of formula I is obtained by reaction between a halogenoalkoxyalkylenedioxybenzene of formula III(X is halogen) and a piperazine of formula IV in the presence or absence of an inert solvent such as THF at room temperature to 150 deg.C. The compound of formula I rapidly develops hypotensive action sufficiently even on oral administration, further, showing weak acute toxicity. The safety of the drug is very high considering its threshold value. |
