description PURPOSE:To reduce the detecting error and to detect with high accuracy the center point coordinates, by obtaining the centroid after printing out a graphic pattern to detect the center point the graphic pattern. CONSTITUTION:A graphic pattern 20 which is read and binary coded at a reading part 10 is painted out, and the inside of the outer frame is painted out at a pattern producing part 30. Then a center point coordinate detecting part 40 calculates the centroid of a paint-out pattern to detect the center point coordinates. A blur of the pattern 20 or a noise point outside a contour line, if arises, gives no direct effect to the detecting error of the center point, and just a part of many black points gives an effect. In this connection, the inside of the frame is painted out to reduce extremely the effect of an inside pattern condition to the detection of the center point. In such a way, the center point coordinates can be detected with high accuracy.
