A conduit 10 for high-temp. exhaust gas is introduced to the space Z, and a spray nozzle 11 at its top end is faced to the lower part of the space Z. A plate 12 for attaching the conduit 10 is fixed to the supporting plate 6 of the stationary bed 1 by bolts 13, and a heat-insulating material 14 is provided around the conduit 10. Exhaust gas G from a heating oven is supplied to said conduit 10 by a blower 15 and sprayed obliquely upwards through the spray nozzle 11. Since pressure at the space Z is held higher than that in the oven, the invasion of cool air is prevented so as to inhibit the cooling of steel materials and the formation of skid marks.
