CONSTITUTION:An evaporator unit 9 is provided in a ceiling 14 at the center of a longitudinal direction of vehicle 26 so as to make almost level with a single line duct 12, and the unit 9 and the single line duct 12 are connected together by a conjunction duct 13. Ejection grills 16 are provided on the lower face of the single line duct 12 along the longitudinal direction at a proper interval, and the air inside the vehicle cabin is recycled to the unit 9 through a ventilation inlet 25 formed on the lower surface of unit 9. A wind amount adjusting plate 17 which has a slit 24 is installed continuously or intermittently, in the single line duct 12. To get a temperature distribution breathwise as shown in the drawing, the guide plates of grill 16 must have slants for both sides, and the wind amount adjusting plate 17 must be formed sectionally in M shape.
