When overload acts to a part (including a driving section such as a cleaner) of a drive system such as a transmission, the rotary member 11 is automatically displaced in the direction of the arrow (e) to disengage a linear member 9 from a driving sprocket 8 so that the rotary member races. Therefore, driving power is not transmitted to the rotary member 11, so that the drive system is protected from damage. In that case, the critical torque can be adjusted by the resisting force f1 of a resisting member 14.
