Thus, it becomes possible to improve slurry properties, to heighten the productivity of the desired polymr, to carry out separation readily and to obtain good heat-sealability by carrying out the polymerization reaction in two stages (A) and (B) and maintaining the ratio among propylene, ethylene and butene-1 fed to the polymerization system in each stage within the specified range.
