Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To interlock a hopper with the movement of a ladder for keeping the atti tude of the hopper constant all the time by a method in which the same size of paired oil-pressure cylinders are connected with each other, one cylinder is positioned between the ladder and a ship hull, and the other is positioned between the ladder and the hopper. CONSTITUTION:In a digging ship, a bucket wheel 1 and a hopper 3 are each independently and rotatably attached to the tip of a ladder 5 provided movably to a ship hull 6, and the soil digged is picked up by the bucket 2 of the bucket wheel 1 being rotated is put on the hull 6 through the hopper 3. In this case, the same size of oilpressure cylinders 8 and 9 are each connected between the ladder 5 and the hull 6 and also between the ladder 5 and the hopper 3. And, the heads of the cylinders 8 and 9 are connected with each other by oil-pressure pipings 10 and also the rod sides of the cylinders are connected likewise. Thus, the position of the hopper 3 can be always interlocked with the movement of the ladder 5 in such a way as to keep the attitude of the hopper 3 constant all the time.
