HEAT-SENSITIVE TRANSFER RECORDING PAPER

PURPOSE:To provide the titled recording paper for multicolor recording capable of high-speed recording on a simple device, by a method wherein a colored layer comprising a plurality of differently colored layers placed in the form of dots on a base sheet is covered by a white opaque layer, and the desired colors are developed by transferring the opaque layer onto a paper to be transferred in accordance with an image signal. CONSTITUTION:A colored layer 15b is formed on the main surface of a base sheet 15a, and is covered by a white opaque layer 15c to constitute a transfer sheet 1a. The colored layer has a plurality of layers 150a, 150b, 150c which are colored in different colors, for example, red, blue and yellow and are in the form of dots placed sequentially in the main scanning direction (b) and a sub- scanning direction (a). The transfer sheet 1a is fed to a transfer device, signals corresponding to the colors impressed on an input terminal are fed from memory circuits 16a-16c (in which the signals are once stored) to a heat-driving circuit 10 through a control circuit 19 and a series-parallel change-over circuit 17 to operate a heating head 3, and opaque fusing parts 20 corresponding to the signals are transferred to the paper 2 to be transferred, thereby producing a recorded image.
