description PURPOSE:To transport an offshore working platform without damaging the pinion of a jack by a method in which a stopper part projected from the lower end portion of legs is supported by a supporter projected from the platform in such a way as to regulate the lowering of the legs. CONSTITUTION:A working platform consists of a platform 1, legs 2 vertically piercing through the platform 1, and a jack 6 to vertically move the legs 2. When trasporting the working platform to the sea area 10, the legs 2 are raised up to a rising limit or so for the platform, and stoppers 14 projected from the lower end portion of the legs 2 are supported by supporters 15 projected from the platform 1. The supporters 15 regulate the movement of the legs 2 in terms of the downward of the upward and downward forces of them. The weight of the legs 2 is supported by said stoppers 14 and said supporters 15, and therefore, more than regulated value of load does not act on the pinion of the jack 6, whereby preventing damage to the pinion.
