Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:An air-curable adhesive, prepared by using a boric ester having a polymerizable double bond in the molecule as a material, and capable of eliminating the air -uncurability by using in the field of anaerobic adhesives. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive, containng a boric ester having a polymerizable double bond in the molecule, prepared by reacting a compound having one or more polymerizable double bonds and alcoholic hydroxyl groups or epoxy groups respectively in the molecule with H3BO3 or B2O3 at the following equivalent ratios: H3BO3: alcoholic hydroxyl groups=1:(1-3), B2O3: alcoholic hydroxyl groups=1:(4-6) and H3BO3: epoxy groups=1:(2-3). Furthermore, a mixture 0- 80pts.wt. anaerobic polymerizable methacrylic acid with 100-20pts.wt. boric ester and a small amount of an organic peroxide imparts the surface curability to the adhesive.
