CONSTITUTION:Diethylene glycol bisallyl carbonate is compounded with 0.3-2.3 wt% radical polymerization initiator (e.g. isobutyl peroxide) and maintained at 5-35 deg.C for 6-72hr to obtain the objective liquid prepolymer. EFFECT:Since the reaction is carried out at a low temperature, the gelation of the prepolymer can be minimized and the prepolymer can be poured easily into a glass mold.
