METHOD FOR EXECUTING STAINLESS LINING

PURPOSE:To easily inspect and correctly discover surface defects at the inside of welded joints, by putting an insert plate into a part of welded joint sections on the inner wall surface of a main structure, and by applying a lining on the whole surface of the inner wall and the insert plate with a lining material. CONSTITUTION:On an inner wall surface 12 of a main structure 11 to be lined, a lining material 14 is lined leaving a fixed width W containing a welded joint part 13 formed when the main structure is welded. Then a insert plate 15 is put into the non-lined part, and a doubling plate 16 made of the lining material 14 is put on the surface of the insert plate 15 and the doubling plate 16 is welded. Thus, the whole surface of the inner wall 12 of the main structure 11 is lined with the lining material. The most suitable width for the insert plate 15 is about 300mm..
