When the transmission 6 is engaged with a traveling gear, the rotational speed of an output shaft of a power connection gear 7 is calculated by a vehicle speed sensor 30, and the rotational speed of a second electric generator 2 is received from a second rotation sensor 32. The rotational speeds of two shafts of the second clutch 22 opposite to each other are substantially equal to each other based on the rotational speed of the output shaft. A transmission drive 35 is driven by controlling a transmission control circuit 40 to set the second clutch 22 in on-condition.
