Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new polynucleotide useful for protocol for treating cerebral hypoxia, external wound, attack and apoplexy and diagnosis assay for these diseases, having high identification with a base sequence encoding HPDDV 78 polypeptide of a specific amino acid sequence. SOLUTION: This new polynucleotide comprises an isolated polynucleotide containing a nucleotide sequence having at least 90% identification in the whole length with a nucleotide sequence encoding a HPDDV78 polypeptide of an amino acid sequence of the formula or a polynucleotide containing a nucleotide sequence complementary to the isolated nucleotide sequence. The HPDDV78 polypeptide and the polynucleotide are useful for designing protocol for treating cerebral hypoxia, external wound, attack and apoplexy and diagnosis assay for these diseases. The polynucleotide is obtained by expression sequence tag(EST) analysis from a cDNA library derived from a human pancreatic carcinoma cell by using standard cloning and screening.
