Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand-alone terminal and a radiator using it in which falling down, inclining and floating, etc., are suppressed without taking trouble to fit the radiator on a printed board, and fitting strength after soldering is sufficiently obtained. SOLUTION: This stand-alone terminal is provided with two through parts 4 which is inserted into a through hole 2a of a substrate 2 and so formed that a tip 5 is exposed from the opposite side of the substrate 2, a hitting surface part 6 which decides the depth of insertion of the through part 4 by being brought into contact with the substrate 2, and a guiding part 9 which guides insertion of the through part 4 by being inserted into another through hole 2b previous to the insertion of the through part 4. And in the tip part 5, the outer surface of it is tapered inward as it approaches the tip, and a returning surface 7 is formed on the side opposite to the outer surface, and the two through parts 4 are, after elastically deformed so as to approach each other to be inserted into the through hole 2a, separated by removing all or a part of the elastic deformation, and the returning surface 7 is, even when a force that tries to extract the through part 4 from the through hole 2a acts after insertion, brought into contact with a surface of the substrate 2, to prevent it.
